July 22, 2007 , Oshkosh, WI - Cessna Aircraft announced it will begin full-scale production of their much anticipated Light Sport Aircraft. A 100hp aircraft, with a cruise speed of 118kts, and Garmin 300 avionics; delivery of the Cessna 162 SkyCatcher are expected to begin in 2009.
